Dogus Otomotiv has signed a letter of intent to establish sales and after-sales service operations for Škoda-branded passenger cars in Iraq.
The agreement, disclosed via the Turkish public disclosure platform, will see the Turkish distributor take on the Iraqi dealership under terms to be defined in a formal contract.
Dogus, which has held the Volkswagen Group distributorship in Turkey for more than 30 years, signed the letter of intent with Škoda Auto A.S. The stated aim is to support sustainable growth of the Volkswagen Group in the Iraqi market.
