Iraq Stock Exchange
- The Chairman of the Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC), Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus, stated that the Commission has developed a comprehensive plan aimed at attracting foreign investors and increasing investment flows to the Iraq Stock Exchange. This will be achieved through a package of qualitative measures, including simplifying investment procedures to make them faster and more flexible, enhancing investor protection in accordance with international best practices, and enabling direct investment through advanced electronic platforms that provide a safe and transparent environment. (ISC)
- Two cross transactions occurred on 1.6 bn shares of Baghdad Soft Drinks (IBSD) on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28, valued at IQD7.4 bn and corresponding to 0.7% of IBSD's capital.
- Al-Ameen Insurance (NAME) has completed the legal procedures for the capital increase through a %25.0 bonus issue to IQD6.25 bn.
- Al Ansari Islamic Bank (BANS) fulfilled ISX's request to explain why the prices touched the lower limit on Oct. 26 and Oct. 28. The company disclosed that there were no fundamental events or new matters that affected the price of the shares.
- ISX requested Babil Animal & Vegetable Production (ABAP) to explain why the prices touched the lower limit on Oct. 23 and Oct. 28.

- Credit Bank of Iraq (BROI) resumed trading on Oct. 26 after holding its postponed AGM on Oct. 22 in which they discussed and approved the bank's continued operation in accordance with the requirements of the banking system reform.
- AL-Nukhba for General Construction (SNUC) resumed trading on Oct. 27 after holding its AGM on Oct. 21 in which they discussed and approved electing five original and three alternative board members.
- Iraqi Agricultural Products Marketing Meat (AIPM) resumed trading on Oct. 29 after holding its AGM on Oct. 15 in which they discussed and approved 2023 annual financial statements and electing four original and four alternative board members.
- National Company for Tourism Investment (HNTI) resumed trading on Oct. 29 after holding its AGM on Oct. 26 in which they discussed and approved the Najaf land investment (total construction cost: IQD26.0 bn), Sudair Tourist Complex in Nineveh (total construction cost: IQD16.0 bn), Mosul amusement park contract (total rehabilitation and construction cost: IQD10.0 bn), and Saba Hotel investment (total construction cost: IQD28.0 bn).

Iraq Stock Exchange
- Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC) announced its approval of the membership requirements for Iraqi brokerage firms to trade on the Tabadul platform on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), as well as the membership requirements for foreign brokerage firms to trade on the platform on the Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX). This is part of the strategic linkage project between the two markets. (ISC)
- According to the ISC decision on Oct. 15, 2025, the ISX transferred World Islamic Bank (BWOR) from the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM) to the Non-Regular Market (NRM) starting Oct. 19, 2025.
- Iraqi For Tufted Carpets (IITC) invited its shareholders to receive their cash dividends for the fiscal year 2024, starting Oct. 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The company decided in its recent AGM (Aug. 28, 2025) to distribute IQD0.85 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 4.5% dividend yield.
- Bain Alnahrain Investment (VMES) will hold its AGM on Nov. 26 to discuss and approve the 2022 & 2023 annual financial statements and dividend distribution. The company had already been suspended from trading by the ISC starting Aug. 26, 2024.

- The Board of the Iraqi Securities Commission, at its seventh session on Sep. 11, 2025, approved the membership requirements for Iraqi brokerage firms to trade on the Tabadul platform in the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the membership requirements for foreign brokerage firms to trade on the trading platform on the ISX. (ISC)
- A cross transaction occurred on 7.4 bn shares of Iraqi Islamic Bank (BIIB) on Oct. 14, valued at IQD7.6 bn and corresponding to 1.9% of BIIB's capital.
- A cross transaction occurred on 5.1 bn shares of Al Mustashar Islamic Bank (BMUI) on Oct. 14, valued at IQD5.1 bn and corresponding to 2.1% of BMUI's capital.
- ISX suspended trading of the third issuance of national bonds (the categories of 500,000 & 1,000,000 dinars) starting on Oct. 14, 2025.
- The AGM of International Islamic Bank (BINT) has been postponed to Oct. 15 due to a lack of quorum.
- According to the ISC decision on Oct. 15, 2025, the ISX will transfer World Islamic Bank (BWOR) from the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM) to the Non-Regular Market (NRM) starting Oct. 19, 2025.

- Region Trade Bank (BRTB) resumed trading on Oct. 16 after holding its AGM on Oct. 10 in which they discussed and approved the bank's continued operation under its current license and legal entity, while meeting the reform criteria outlined in the draft banking sector reform plan.
- Al-Ahlyia for Agricultural Production (AAHP) will resume trading on Oct. 19 after holding its AGM on Oct. 12 in which they discussed and approved the ending year Mar. 31, 2025 financial statements and elected five original and five alternative board members.

- The Iraq Securities Commission (ISC) confirmed on Monday the modernization of the infrastructure and operating methods of the Iraqi Market in cooperation with specialized international firms, while emphasizing its efforts to enhance supervision and expand the base of listed companies. (INA)
- As part of efforts to enhance cooperation and transparency in the Iraqi financial market, the Chairman of the ISC, Mr. Faisal Al-Haimus, visited the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, where he was received by the Board's President, Certified Public Accountant Ammar Subhi Khalaf. - The ISX announced the signing of an MoU with the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA), joining a regional network of major Arab stock markets. - An MoU was signed between the ISC and the Financial Services Authority in the Sultanate of Oman, under the patronage of the PM of Iraq. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the field of information exchange, supervision of capital markets, combating prohibited practices, and enforcing laws and regulations regulating securities. In the same context, an MoU was signed between the ISX and the MSX, seeking to build a strategic partnership between the two markets through the exchange of technical information and knowledge in the areas of listing, trading, depository, clearing, and settlement. - Mamoura Real-estate Investment (SMRI) invited its shareholders to receive their cash dividends for the fiscal year 2024, starting Sep. 7. The company decided in its recent AGM (Jul. 21, 2025) to distribute IQD0.04 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 0.9% dividend yield.
- The third issuance of national bonds was launched for trading starting Sep. 8, 2025, on the bond platform. The price change will be 5% according to the table received from the CBI. The bonds will be traded from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

- Nasik Islamic Bank (which is not listed on the ISX) will hold its AGM on Oct. 7 to discuss and approve 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, increasing the paid-in capital through a rights issue, listing its shares on the ISX, and electing four original and four alternative board members.

- The first and second issuance of national bonds were launched for trading starting Aug. 27, 2025, on the bond platform. The price change will be 5% according to the table received from the CBI. The bonds will trade from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- Elaf Islamic Bank (BELF) fulfilled ISX's request to explain why the prices touched the higher limit on Aug. 25 and Aug. 26. The company disclosed that there were no fundamental events or new matters that affected the price of the shares.
- ISX requested Union Bank (BUOI) to explain why the prices touched the higher limit on Aug. 26 and Aug. 27.
Stocks that resumed / will resume trading:
- Baghdad Hotel (HBAG) resumed trading on Aug. 28 after holding its AGM on Aug. 26, in which they discussed and approved 2024 annual financial statements and decided to distribute IQD0.51 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 4.2% dividend yield.
- Mamoura Real-estate Investment (SMRI) resumed trading on Aug. 28 after holding its AGM on Aug. 21, in which they discussed and approved electing seven original and five alternative board members.
