Finland Arrests Speicher Massacre Suspects

By Simon Kent.

Two twins have been detained in Finland on suspicion of involvement in the so called "Speicher massacre" which occurred near Tikrit last June.

Finnish security services had apparently been anticipating the arrival of the men in the country, whose faces appear un-masked in a video by the so called "Islamic State," also known as Daesh.

In that notorious footage, Daesh terrorists can be seen machine gunning as many as 1500 captive Iraqi air force cadets who were ambushed and detained fleeing the former US base of Camp Speicher, as Daesh swept across northern Iraq.

The two suspects are seen in video footage shooting 11 prisoners, but it is not clear at the time of writing how Finnish authorities knew the men would head to Finland.
