Rozenama, an Iraqi e-commerce platform based in Baghdad, has closed a $150,000 pre-seed funding round.
Co-founder and CEO Abbas Muhil told Iraq Business News that the platform provides Iraqi merchants with an online store and order management system, and has grown from 250 to over 900 active merchants over the past year, with 13,000 registered users.
Founded in 2022, the company is launching a rebuilt version of its platform on 25th August. Merchants currently on the platform include Dr Store IQ, a womenswear retailer operating a bilingual Arabic and Kurdish store across fourteen categories, and Nashra.iq, a decorative and gaming lighting brand.
