  • On Aug. 17, new shares of Economy Bank for Investment (BEFI) were issued regarding the bonus issue of the capital increase decision from IQD291.0bn to IQD350.0bn through a 3.1% bonus issue and 17.18% rights issue.
  • A $75 mn trade finance facility has been agreed between the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Al Mansour Bank for Investment (BMNS). The facility is provided under the EBRD's Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) and will offer guarantees and cash advances to support MBI's trade finance activities, covering political and commercial payment risks associated with cross-border import and export transactions.   • Baghdad Hotel (HBAG) started distributing the 2025 cash dividend of IQD0.5 per share to its shareholders starting Aug. 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 PM.

Stocks that resumed / will resume trading:

  • Credit Bank of Iraq (BROI) resumed trading on Aug. 16 after holding its AGM on Jul. 30, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements, and increasing the capital from IQD346.87 bn to IQD367.87 bn through a 6.05% bonus issue.
  • AL Arabiya Islamic Bank (BAAI) resumed trading on Aug. 16 after holding its AGM on Jul. 17, in which they discussed and approved 2024 and 2025 annual financial statements, merging with Sumer Commercial Bank (BSUC), admitting Jordan Islamic Bank as a qualified foreign strategic investor with a stake of no less than 5%, and re-electing seven original and seven alternative board members.
  • Al-Ataa Islamic Bank (BLAD) resumed trading on Aug. 17 after holding its AGM on Aug. 10, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements, increasing the board members to nine, and electing nine original and nine alternative board members.
  • Al-Khazer for Construction Materials (IKHC) resumed trading on Aug. 18 after holding its AGM on Aug. 14, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements, and authorizing the board of directors to negotiate and conclude investment contracts.
  • AHliya for Insurance (NAHF) resumed trading on Aug. 18 after holding its AGM on Aug. 2, in which they discussed and approved 2025 annual financial statements.
  • Iraqi Islamic Bank for Investment and Development (BIIB) resumed trading on Aug. 20 after holding its AGM on Aug. 15, in which they discussed and approved the 2025 annual financial statements, and increasing the capital from IQD400.0 bn to IQD460.0 bn through a 15.0% bonus issue.
  • Mamoura Real-estate Investment (SMRI) will resume trading on Aug. 23 after holding its AGM on Aug. 17, in which they discussed and approved the 2025 annual financial statements, and increasing the capital from IQD22.78 bn to IQD31.0 bn through a 36.08% rights issue. The opening price will be IQD2.760 per share.

Stocks that were suspended / will be suspended from trading:

  • According to the ISC decision on Aug. 13, ISX suspended trading of Sumer Commercial Bank (BSUC), Mosul Bank for Development and Investment (BMFI), Union Bank of Iraq (BUOI), United Bank (BUND), National Islamic Bank (BNAI), International Islamic Bank (BINT), World Islamic Bank for Investment and Finance (BWOR), Ameen Al-Iraq Bank for Islamic Investment (BAME), Ishtar Hotels (HISH), National Company for Tourism Investment (HNTI), Modern Animal and Agricultural Production (AMAP), and Babil Animal and Vegetable Production (ABAP) starting Aug. 17 for not submitting the 2025 annual financial statements.
  • ISX suspended trading of Al-Hamraa for Insurance (NHAM) starting Aug. 17 due to the AGM that will be held on Aug. 20 to discuss and approve 2025 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and increasing the capital through a bonus issue instead of a rights issue.
  • ISX suspended trading of Al-Khatem Telecoms (TZNI) starting Aug. 20 due to the AGM that will be held on Aug. 26 to discuss and approve the 2025 annual financial statements and dividend distribution.
  • ISX will suspend trading of Hammurabi Commercial Bank (BHAM) (OTC) starting Sep. 7 due to the AGM that will be held on Sep. 7 to discuss and approve increasing the capital from IQD201.0 bn to IQD267.33 bn through a 33.0% rights issue. The bank will resume trading on Sep. 8.
