A delegation from Basra headed by the province’s governor has travelled to Europe on Monday to discuss issues related to Basra rehabilitation.
“The delegation will stay in Holland until May 23,” a provincial media source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
He explained that after visiting Holland, the delegation will travel to Britain in a 4-day visit.
The oil-rich city of Basra lies 590 km south of Baghdad.
