Iraq Stock Exchange
- National Bank of Iraq (BNOI) decided in its AGM held on Mar. 27 to increase the paid-in capital from IQD400.0 bn to IQD520.0 bn through a 30.0% bonus issue and to distribute IQD0.20 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 4.9% dividend yield.
- Al-Mansour Bank (BMNS) has completed the legal procedures for the capital increase through a 26.78% bonus issue to IQD445.0 bn.
- Investment Bank of Iraq (BIBI) has completed the legal procedures for the capital increase through an 11.998% bonus issue to IQD288.0 bn.
- The ISC has approved the request of Al Taif Islamic Bank (BTIB) to have a four-month extension period to add the new shares from the capital increase through a 20.0% rights issue to IQD300.0 bn starting from Mar. 12, 2025.
- Hammurabi Commercial Bank (BHAM) will start trading in the OTC on Apr. 7 after completing the procedures for registering the shareholders' register and depositing a percentage exceeding 43% of the company's capital.
- The selling of the additional shares of Al-Mansour Pharmaceuticals Industries (IMAP), amounting to 2.56 bn shares, has been completed.
- ISX suspended trading of the first issuance of Binaa bonds starting on Mar. 27, 2025, due to distributing semi-annual interest.

- Iraqi Agricultural Products (AIRP) will resume trading on Apr. 6. after holding its AGM on Feb. 27 in which they discussed and approved the sale of the company's property in Baghdad and withdrawing a loan from approved banks in Iraq to restart the suspended projects.
- Original shares of Region Trade Bank (BRTB) resumed trading on Mar. 27 after holding its AGM on Mar. 20 in which they discussed and approved 2024 annual financial statements, increasing the paid-in capital from IQD350.0 bn to IQD400.0 bn through a 14.29% bonus issue.
- New shares of Cihan Bank (BCIH) from the capital increase to IQD400.0 bn through a 6.8% rights issue and a 5.9% bonus issue resumed trading on Mar. 25.

- ISX will suspend trading of Al-Mansour Hotels (HMAN) starting May 4 due to the AGM that will be held on May 7 to discuss and approve 2023 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, and direct invitations for investment in the hotel.
- ISX suspended trading of National Bank of Iraq (BNOI) starting Mar. 24 due to the AGM that will be held on Mar. 27 to discuss and approve 2024 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, the management agreement between BNOI and the Capital Bank of Jordan, increasing the paid-in capital from IQD400.0 bn to IQD520.0 bn through a 30.0% bonus issue, financing the opening of 6 new branches, and electing nine original and nine alternative board members.
- ISX suspended trading of National Islamic Bank (BNAI) starting Mar. 24 due to the AGM that will be held on Mar. 27 to discuss and approve 2024 annual financial statements, dividend distribution, increasing the paid-in capital from IQD351.0 bn to IQD400.0 bn through rights issue and bonus issue.

- A cross transaction occurred on 1.7 bn shares of Asia Al Iraq Islamic Bank (BAIB) on Mar. 19, valued at IQD1.5 bn and corresponding to 0.7% of BAIB's capital.
- Al-Mansour Pharmaceuticals Industries (IMAP) invited its shareholders to subscribe to 2.56 bn shares starting Mar. 17, 2025, for a period of five working days, from the capital increase to IQD18.56 bn through 16.0% rights issue according to the Companies Law No. 21 of 1997/Article 55/Fourth. Selling price will be IQD2.5 to people who will participate in the capital increase, and, the subscription will be available to anyone who wishes to subscribe in accordance with the procedures approved by the ISC and the ISX.
- Al-Khatem Telecoms (TZNI) invited its shareholders to receive their cash dividends for the fiscal year 2022 & 2023, every Thursday at the company's HQ from March 20 to May 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The company decided in its recent AGM (Jan. 20, 2025) to distribute IQD0.1397 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 5.7% dividend yield.
- Iraqi for Seed Production (AISP) invited its shareholders to receive their cash dividends for the fiscal year 2021, starting Apr. 8, 2025. The company decided in its recent AGM (Mar. 2, 2025) to distribute IQD14.0 bn dividend in total.

- Iraqi for Seed Production (AISP) resumed trading on Mar. 11 after holding its postponed AGM on Mar. 2 in which they discussed and approved various matters, including increasing production and storage capacity, importing factories, the sovereign loan, adding the activity of importing fodder yellow corn and chemical fertilizers, establishing a commercial department, activating the open investment portfolio, and offering the Abu Ghraib site area for investment after emptying it to complete deficiencies at the Nay site in Diyala Governorate and support the governorate's development. The AGM also discussed and approved investing in or renting the refrigerated potato warehouse site in Abu Ghraib and the lease contract for Al-Latifiya Farm. AISP decided to distribute IQD14.0 bn dividend in total.
- Iraqi Agricultural Products Marketing Meat (AIPM) resumed trading on Mar. 11 after not being able to hold its original and postponed AGM on Feb. 22 and Mar. 1, respectively.

- The ISC has approved the request of Investment Bank of Iraq (BIBI) to have a two-month extension period to add the new shares from the capital increase through an 11.998% bonus issue to IQD288.0 bn starting from Mar. 1, 2025.
- The ISC has approved the request of Ahliya for Insurance (NAHF) to have a two-month extension period to add the new shares from the capital increase through a 114.3% rights issue to IQD15.0 bn starting from Mar. 2, 2025.

- On Thursday, the Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC) confirmed that the Egyptian MoU is an important step to enhance transparency and stability in the financial markets, while indicating that it will last for a period of 5 years and can be automatically extended. (INA)
- A cross transaction occurred on 12.0 bn shares of Trust International Islamic Bank (BTRU) on Feb. 9, valued at IQD9.0 bn and corresponding to 4.8% of BTRU's capital.
- A cross transaction occurred on 1.4 bn shares of Iraq Noor Islamic Bank (BINI) on Feb. 9, valued at IQD1.2 bn and corresponding to 0.6% of BINI's capital.
- Subscription to 40.0% rights issue of Ameen Al-Iraq Islamic Bank (BAME) to reach IQD353.0 bn paid-in capital through 40% Rights issue and 1.2% Bonus issue has ended on Feb. 5. It was announced that there was no subscription for the 100.0 bn shares.
- Iraq Baghdad for General Transport (SBPT) invited its shareholders to receive their cash dividends for the fiscal year 2023 and previous years at the company's HQ. The company decided in its recent AGM (Dec. 19, 2024) to distribute IQD0.6 cash dividend per share, corresponding to a 1.0% dividend yield.
- The procedures for listing Hammurabi Commercial Bank (BHAM) on the OTC platform with its capital of IQD201.0 bn have been completed based on the instructions of the Securities Commission. The process of creating share certificates for the company's shareholders began on Feb. 13. Trading will be launched after depositing 5% of the capital, or after 21 days from the depositing start date.

- On Wednesday, Ministry of Finance announced the launch of national bonds (first issuance) for public subscription, with a total value of IQD2 trln, for the period from February 10 to March 10, 2025. The ministry stated in a statement that its launch of these bonds comes "as part of its plan to enhance local investment and provide savings tools for citizens and investors." According to the statement, the bonds are divided into two categories: ️The first bond is worth 500,000 dinars with an annual interest of 6%, and matures after two years, with interest paid every six months. The second bond is worth 1,000,000 dinars with an annual interest of 7.5%, and matures after four years, with interest paid every six months. (Shafaq News)
- A cross transaction occurred on 900.0 mn shares of Bank of Baghdad (BBOB) on Feb. 5, valued at IQD3.9 bn and corresponding to 0.2% of BBOB's capital.
- On Friday, the Iraqi Securities Commision (ISC) explained the importance of the MoU with the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange last Monday, and while indicating the imminent launch of the Environmental and Social Governance Guide, it confirmed the development of a plan to provide facilities during the opening of accounts for investors. - According to the ISC decision on Jan. 14, 2025, the ISX transferred Al-HiLal Industries (IHLI) from the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM) to the Regular Market (RM) starting Feb. 2, 2025.
- The ISC has approved the request of Al-Mosul for Funfairs (SMOF) to have a one-month extension period to add the new shares from the capital increase through a 10.0% bonus issue to IQD1.815 bn starting from Jan. 28, 2025.
- Iraq Baghdad for General Transport (SBPT) has completed the legal procedures for the capital increase through a 130.769% bonus issue to IQD3.0 bn.

Other topics include offering the Abu Ghraib site area for investment after emptying it to complete deficiencies at the Nay site in Diyala Governorate and support the governorate's development. The AGM will also address investing in or renting the refrigerated potato warehouse site in Abu Ghraib and the lease contract for Al-Latifiya Farm.

- On Monday, PM Al-Sudani sponsored the signing ceremony of a MoU between the Iraqi Securities Commission and the Abu Dhabi Market. The MoU includes aspects of cooperation in several areas, the most important of which is strengthening and developing oversight processes over daily trading in the market and over brokerage companies, cooperation in the field of conditions and mechanisms for dual listing, and developing and using technological applications and mechanisms for subscriptions and initial listings, as well as in the field of cases of stopping trading in stocks, the timing of resumption of trading, and the requirements for licensing REIT funds. - Under the patronage of PM Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, the Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC) signed an MoU with the Egyptian Financial Supervision Authority, within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation between Iraq and Egypt in the field of regulation and supervision of financial markets. This memorandum aims to exchange experiences and information between the two sides, and to strengthen the regulatory frameworks for the financial markets in both countries, thus contributing to achieving the highest levels of transparency and efficiency in accordance with international best practices.
- The Washington DC-based Institute for Financial Integrity (IFI) has announced the launch of the Financial Integrity and Cross-Border Payments Training Program for the National Bank of Iraq (BNOI), developed in partnership with the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) and K2 Integrity. According to a press release from IFI, this groundbreaking initiative aims to enhance the integrity of the Iraqi financial system by ensuring cross-border payments originating from Iraq adhere to legal requirements, regulatory expectations, and global standards. - The AGM of AL- Kindi of Veterinary Vaccines (IKLV) has been postponed to Jan. 30 due to a lack of quorum.

- The head of the Securities Commission, Faisal Al-Haimus, announced on Thursday that the Commission was able to increase the business of the Iraqi Stock Exchange by about 16%, pointing to cooperation with the World Bank on governance. (INA)
- A cross transaction occurred on 6.6 bn shares of Kurdistan International Islamic Bank (BKUI) on Jan. 22, valued at IQD5.9 bn and corresponding to 1.7% of BKUI's capital.
- A cross transaction occurred on 2.8 bn shares of Trust International Islamic Bank (BTRU) on Jan. 22, valued at IQD2.1 bn and corresponding to 1.1% of BTRU's capital.
- Al Taif Islamic Bank (BTIB) invited its shareholders to subscribe to 50.0 bn shares starting Jan. 19 from the capital increase to IQD300.0 bn through a 20.0% rights issue. The subscription period is no less than 30 days and no more than 60 days.
- According to the ISC decision on Jan. 14, 2025, the ISX will transfer Al-HiLal Industries (IHLI) from the Undisclosed Companies Market (UCM) to the Regular Market (RM) starting Feb. 2, 2025.
- Al-Zawraa for Financial Investment (VZAF) will hold its AGM on Feb. 12 to discuss and approve the liquidation of the company and appointing liquidator for it. The company had already been suspended from trading by ISX due to its failure to meet the requirements for maintaining a license.
- ISX suspended trading of Ishtar Gate For e-Payment Systems and Services (FISH) (OTC) starting Jan. 20 due to the AGM that will be held on Jan. 21 to discuss and approve 2023 annual financial statements. The company resumed trading on Jan. 22.
