The General Company for Automotive and Equipment Industries, part of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, has announced a project to armour-plate vehicles of various types, in partnership with private sector company Dera Al-Alamiya [Global Shield].
According to the Ministry, the project covers the armouring and plating of all types of civilian and military vehicles, with protection levels and technical specifications tailored to the needs of the client. The project relies on modern equipment from reputable manufacturers, and is overseen by armouring experts and specialists, with staff trained to transfer knowledge and expertise in the field.
The company's director general, engineer Dana Saadullah Saeed, said it had approached various government and security bodies to offer the project's services for armouring work according to demand, in line with the intended use and required level of protection.
